Katy-jo Howman trained at Doreen Birds school of performing Arts. She graduated with Honours and in the very same month successfully auditioned for the first ever UK Tour of Saturday Night Fever. Since then she has performed in West end and No 1 UK Touring productions such as Fame, Godspell, Oliver and Cats playing her dream role of Rumpleteaser. Her TV credits include Doctors, This Morning, The Paul O'Grady Show and different types of adverts. Between working she has been lucky enough to have 3 beautiful children, whom she has home educated.Throughout her professional career Katy-jo has taught all styles of dance, drama, musical theatre and singing to all ages and abilities. She is extremely excited to be joining the faculty at The Brighton Academy this year and can't wait to share her passion and experience with the students.
