Penny has acquired over 25 years of teaching experience. Havingcompleted all her vocational qualifications, she undertook her teaching studieswith Elizabeth Hodshon, Examiner and Faculty Member for the ISTD, achievingsuccess in her Associate Exam.  This waslater upgraded to the ISTD Certificate in Dance Education (CDE, now known asDDE).  At the same time, Penny qualifiedwith the Royal Academy of Dance gaining their Certificate in Ballet TeachingStudies (CBTS).  She has continued tofurther her teaching qualifications, more recently gaining both Licentiate(ISTD Ballet) and the Level 6 Diploma in Dance Pedagogy (DDP).

Penny has coached students in both the RAD and ISTD Syllabi fromPrimary up to Advanced 2 and has successfully entered many students for theirexaminations. Many of these have gone on to pursue professional careers withcompanies such as Matthew Bourne, English National Ballet, Carnival LineCruises and various UK Tours.
