Damien is originally from Cork, Ireland, where he trained at the Montfort Stage School and the Joan Denise Moriarty School of Dance. He did his professional training for 3 years at The London Studio Centre. He has been a resident in Brighton for the last 20 years.

West End credits as a performer include: Cats (The Gillian Lynne Theatre); Hard Times (Theatre Royal Haymarket); Tonight’s the Night (Victoria Palace Theatre) and the Original Cast of Billy Elliot The Musical in which he was the Children’s Dance Captain (Victoria Palace Theatre). Italia Conti, Performers College, Reynolds Performing Arts, Midland’s Academy of Dance & Drama, Stella Mann, C.P.A. and South East Dance. As well as this he has also been a guest teacher for the British Ballet Organisation’s summer schools in both Australia and New Zealand.

Damien is a qualified teacher with the British Ballet Organisation having completed their L6 DTLLS qualification in Commercial Theatre. He has been a Senior Lecturer and Head of Musical Theatre Dance at the University of Chichester Conservatoire on the Musical Theatre Triple Threat program for the last 14 years.
