After completing their three-year performance training at TBA, this DDE can enhance and help support the graduate's dance career, potentially providing well-paid part-time teaching positions in between their Dance contracts and frequent castings.
When the time comes to teach more permanently, this qualification provides clarity and status, as well as the ability to enter their own future students' exams. It ultimately provides the essential tools and knowledge to run their own schools safely and efficiently.
ISTD
Unit 1 covers all aspects of safe dance practice, such as muscles, joints, injury, nutrition, risk assessment, and legal policies.
Unit 2 concentrates on observing, assisting, and teaching dance classes.
Unit 3 is the intermediate dance exam in the chosen genre.
Unit 4 is the dance practice unit, learning the ISTD syllabus from primary to intermediate.
Unit 3 - Vocational Graded Examination In Dance : Intermediate (28 Credits at Level 3)
Unit 4 - Dance Practice (30 Credits at Level 4)
Unit 5 encompasses growth and development as well as social, emotional, and cognitive development in children.
Child Development - (17 credits Level 4)
